Please join us for a charity date auction benefitting Teach For America. 

“Teach For America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates and professionals of all academic majors and career interests who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and become leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity.”

The event features a live date auction featuring TFA Members/Teachers and Friends/Staff of the Firkin & Phoenix Pub as well as a live auction featuring great prizes donated for the auction.

The rules for the auction:

1. Approximately 10 women and 10 men will be put up for a live auction.  Each auctionee will be part of an entire date package that will include an activity (a fully paid dinner, sporting event, etc.)  Bids will be for the entire package.  Bios for the individuals and their date packages will be available before the auction.
2. Opening bid is $50.00.  You may bid on more than one person on the auction block!
3. Winning bidders must write a check made payable to F&P or pay cash on the night of the auction.  If no payment is received, the winning bidder will forfeit to the next highest bidder.
4. The winning bidder and auctioned person make their own arrangements for their date.  Logistics for the date will be agreed upon by both parties.
5. Can’t make it to the event? Make a silent bid prior to our auction.
6. Already have a significant other?  Buy your friend a date!
